    A former teacher and Nanticoke mayor who was accused of trying to lure children into his car with cash will not stand trial after a psychiatrist deemed him incompetent. Edward J. Butkiewicz, 76, is facing misdemeanor charges of child luring and corruption of minors for allegedly trying to coax kids into his car with promises of cash in exchange for doing "weird" things.

Juan Bermudes Prieto, 43, also faces deportation after pleading no contest to charges alleging he secretly recorded dozens of women and girls using the rest room at Luigi's Pizza and Restaurant on South Mountain Boulevard in Wright Twp.
