    Power has been restored to most PPL Electric customers after a transformer fire caused an outage Tuesday night in Mountain Top. PPL spokeswoman Jessica Long said power was back on for all but three customers as of 10:10 p.m. The PPL Electric Utilities outage map at the company Web site indicates that 2,052 PPL customers were without power as of about 9:40 p.m. The outage was caused by a transformer fire on South Main Road in Wright Township that was reported at about 9:15 p.m., according to a Luzerne County emergency dispatch supervisor.
