BNC Bancorp, the holding company for Bank of North Carolina , and Southcoast Financial Corp., the parent company of Southcoast Community Bank, have entered into an agreement for BNC to acquire all of Southcoast's common stock, according to a news release posted to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission .
