It has been an up and down year thus far for these Lady Devils, as they dropped their first two games, then won two in a row, lost two more, than ended the 2014 portion of their schedule with a victory.

    Much speculation has been made over the future of Southern State Community College's South Fincastle Campus, and after receiving multiple bids, a sale still has yet to be made. The college made an announcement in September that bids could be made on the property, which the SSCC Board of Trustees decided to no longer use as a college campus due to the cost to update and maintain it.
