    Morton Community Unit School District 709's Board of Education has voted unanimously to hire Dr. Jeff Hill as the new superintendent, starting July 1. Hill is currently the superintendent of the Illinois State University Lab Schools. A special meeting was held at Morton CUSD #709 administration building late last month to hire Hill Before accepting the superintendent position with the Morton School District, Hill has served in several leadership positions.
