    Country roads have brought a pastor back to North Central West Virginia in her path of ministry: The Reverend Amy Shanholtzer began the appointment of superintendent of the MonValley District on July 1. On July 29, Spruce Street United Methodist Church will host the installation of the district superintendent at 2 p.m. Bishop Sandra Steiner Ball and her staff will participate in the ceremony. As a Morgantown native, Shanholtzer graduated from Morgantown High School and grew up attending Spruce Street UMC with her family; the church is also where, after graduating from West Virginia Wesleyan College, she returned to serve as the Christian education director.

Charges of felony conspiracy, daytime burglary and grand larceny in connection to a homicide, and being an accessory to murder after the fact, are being filed against Glenn Weaver Jr., 25, of Morgantown, according to Friday's press release from the sheriff's department. Elizabeth Hartley, 34, of Grafton, is also being charged with accessory after the fact.
