    Sheriff Steve Whisenant tells local media outlets that 35-year-old Christopher Eron Williams was shot in a mobile home near Morganton early Thursday and pronounced dead at a hospital. Authorities say two men they suspected in the shooting, 29-year-old William Chase Pate and 27-year-old Cordero Louis Thompson, were discovered to be at a home in McDowell County later Thursday.
