Sheriff Leland Falcon said in news release Wednesday that the at-large man, Kelton Smith, 20, 250 Murial St., and a juvenile took the guns from the Belle River area home in Assumption.

    A Morgan City man arrested Monday is accused of using false documents to try to get a state I.D. card, Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon said. Deputies responding to a complaint from the state Department of Motor Vehicles office in Napoleonville found that Sergio Rodriguez, 33, had presented a fraudulent Social Security number and birth certificate to try to get an I.D. card and had signed applications documents using a false name, Falcon said in a news release.
