Tara DeSousa, a 50-year-old petite blonde, was lying in bed when she was stabbed 31 times on Jan. 28. According to court testimony in Matthew Huntington's pre-trial hearing on Friday, DeSousa's roommate told detective Brian Kruse he saw Huntington kneeling on top of her and stabbing her at least twice with a kitchen knife.
