Prosecutors filed six counts of meeting a minor for lewd purposes, three counts of oral copulation of a person under 18, two counts of unlawful sexual intercourse, and one count of sodomy of a person under 18 against Timothy Van Phuoc Dang of West Covina, according to Sarah Ardalani, a spokeswoman with the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office.

New charges stemming from those crimes have been filed, and an attempted murder charge was filed against a fourth defendant, a woman said to be to the girlfriend of one of the men accused with killing Downey Police Officer Ricardo “Ricky” Galvez, 29. That charge stems from a separate crime alleged to have been committed last October at a Montebello convenience store, according to the Los Angeles County District Attorney's office.
