Orlando Unsavar Candler, age 39 of Monroe, and Eddie Jackson, Jr., age 50 of Monroe, have been arrested for allegedly committing stealing a woman's purse.

    A manhunt is underway for 41-year-old Alton Dickson Jr. Police said on Thursday Dickson got into a physical altercation with victim Quincy Jones on the 1600 block of Alabama St. Police reports said after the fight, Jones went to his car, Dickson approached the vehicle and shot Jones several times. The victim was taken to a hospital but later died of his wounds.
