    More than 100 head of cattle - the majority of them calves - died when fire leveled a barn on a dairy farm on county Route 43 on Wednesday night. Fifteen fire companies from Franklin and St. Lawrence counties and Quebec battled the blaze at the Brockway Hilltop Dairy Farm but were unable to save the barn, said Fort Covington Fire Chief Benjamin Treptow.
