    Del Monte Foods is moving its headquarters from San Francisco to Walnut Creek, a shift that will put the East Bay city's name -- albeit in small print -- on grocery store shelves across the country. Based primarily in San Francisco since the company's founding in 1886, Del Monte is transferring about 90 employees who work in marketing, finance and supply chain functions to 3003 Oak Road, an office building near the Pleasant Hill/Contra Costa Centre BART station.

Clayton Valley Charter and Campolindo were selected to play in Northern California regional games next week, and De La Salle was picked as the North's Open Division team and will advance straight to the premier state championship game on Dec. 20. But McClymonds, which was 12-0 on the field before recently forfeiting four games for use of an ineligible player, was left out of the Division IV regional contest it had played in the last two seasons.
