    On Monday, Mississippi State freshman guard Lamar Peters was suspended for oversleeping a 6 p.m. game against Northwestern State. Since then, Peters has posted back-to-back double-figure games for the Bulldogs off the bench, including a career-high 24 in an 82-60 victory over Georgia State on Sunday.
