The fire, which burned the roof off the family's home at 7302 Forrest Rader Drive in the St. Ives neighborhood off Truelight Church Road, left two burnt cars in the garage, another burnt SUV in the driveway and mass destruction on the property. "Property-wise it looks like a total loss," said Mint Hill Fire Chief David Laeth.
