    Milwaukeeans take parking seriously. We want it cheap and plenty of it. But what about when going to bars? Are parking lots at bars a good idea or a recipe for disaster? If a group or couple appoint a responsible designated driver at the beginning of the evening, or the driver has one drink, then parking lots are definitely appreciated especially, perhaps, by those in their thirties, forties and fifties.

Entries by UWM architecture students were expected to incorporate the needs of the Milwaukee Public Museum and the Betty Brinn Children's Museum, as well addition space and parking for the Marcus Center, in their proposals.

    A memorial celebration has been planned for Chef Todd Moore, former Lake Park Bistro chef de cuisine on Sunday, Dec. 30 from 2 to 6 p.m. at the Italian Community Center, 631 E. Chicago St. Moore passed away suddenly on Thursday, Nov. 8, leaving behind a host of family including his parents, sister, his partner Magin T. Razo and his beloved daughter Sabine Nola Moore. In his brief years, he made his mark on the Milwaukee area food scene, forging friendships with area chefs, supporting them in their endeavors and sharing his love for old world wines, simple pleasures and the Grateful Dead.
