Tools, jewelry, two Playstation gaming systems and two TVs were reported stolen out of a home in the 9200 block of Plainfield Avenue at 1:55 p.m. June 5. The suspect possibly got into the home through an unlocked sliding door, which was found unlocked.

    A lawnmower was stolen from out of a garage in the 3600 block of South 33rd Street between 10 p.m. May 23 and 5:15 a.m. May 24. Jewelry and money was reported stolen from a locked home in the 4700 block of South 99th Street at 1:20 p.m. May 24. A suspect got into the home by breaking a glass patio door. Multiple tool kits, a compactor tool and a Sawzall kit were reported stolen out of two locked work trucks at Greenfield Plumbing LLC, 5530 W. Forest Home Ave., between the evening hours of May 20 and the early morning hours of May 23. A suspect broke the trunk bed locks to steal the tools.

    A dump truck with its dump box raised tore down an overhead electrical wire crossing Forest Home Avenue in the 6500 block, knocking down three utility poles about 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 25, Milwaukee police said. Forest Home Avenue is the border between Milwaukee and Greenfield and Greenfield police assisted in the incident.

    Police were on the scene Tuesday morning of a motor vehicle accident that knocked down three electrical poles and brought live wires down in the 6500 to 6700 blocks of Forest Home Avenue on the border between Greenfield and Milwaukee. Amy Jahns, spokeswoman for We Engergies, said at 12:40 p.m. that she had no reports of outages but that could change as updates come in.

    A 23-year-old Milwaukee man was taken into police custody on allegations that he pointed a loaded gun at his 22-year-old girlfriend, who is the mother of his two young children, and her sister while they were smoking marijuana inside a Greenfield apartment on May 4. The man allegedly threatened to kill both women because his girlfriend passed the marijuana cigarette to her sister instead of passing it to him, according to the police report. Officers responded to the 22-year-old woman's apartment building in the 5900 block of South 28th Street at about 10:40 a.m. after her sister, who left the home soon after the incident, called police.

    A boy driving a stolen vehicle led Greenfield police on a high-speed pursuit reaching 100 mph that ended in a crash during the early morning hours of May 6. The pursuit started when an officer tried to pull a 2008 black Nissan Rogue over for speeding on South 27th Street and West Loomis Road at about 2:55 a.m. Police pursued the Nissan north on South 27th Street for about two and a half miles, according to the police report. The chase ended in the 2100 block of South 27 Street in Milwaukee when a Greenfield police officer successfully executed a PIT maneuver, causing the Nissan to slide into the median and crash into a light pole.
