    Student and adult volunteers from across the country are lending a hand in Huntington this week as the World Changers have kicked off a week-long expedition that includes repairs to 12 homes in Huntington and one in Milton. The nationwide Christian evangelical program is providing 210 students and 13 supervisors from eight states to paint, install windows, and repair roofs, porches and decks on owner-occupied homes through Friday, June 17. Homeowners benefiting from the work have applied for the World Changers program through the City of Huntington's Department of Planning and Development; have met income guidelines as required by HUD; and have paid their municipal and refuse fees.
