    Two people were arrested and are awaiting grand jury indictments in connection with a drug overdose death that occurred on Halloween. On Dec. 20, Rochester Police arrested Robert Brochu, 32, of Berwick, Maine, and Amber Nicholson, 33, of Milton, and charged them both with dispensing controlled drug – death resulting, for the death of Brandon M. Laurion, 30, of Rochester.

    Steven Hood, 27, of 492 White Mountain Highway, Milton, and John LaFlesh, 28, of 764 Upper Guinea Road, Lebanon, Maine, are each facing a felony burglary charge in connection with the incident. The indictments against them allege that they entered a building on Meaderboro Road in Farmington with the purpose to commit theft on Aug. 31. The burglary charge is a Class B felony, which carries a maximum possible sentence of 3 ½ to 7 years in prison and a $4,000 fine if convicted.
