    Crews were dispatched at 1:47 p.m. to a reported single car roll over at the 21000 block of SR 2. Upon arrival Engine 31 found a single occupant ambulatory on the side of the road. Crews blocked one lane of SR 2 for safety while treating the patient.

    Snohomish County Public Works' ability to leverage local tax dollars with state and federal grants allows the department to stretch traditional funding sources and complete more projects. The county recently received notice that the Puget Sound Regional Council has approved more than $2.78 million in federal funding for two separate projects while the Washington State Transportation Improvement Board has approved $4 million for 180th St SE - Phase I. That brings the total outside funding for county projects to more than $15 million awarded to Public Works during 2018.

    The City of Monroe is taking a three-pronged approach to selling the six remaining North Kelsey Street properties sitting along Tjerne Place Southeast north of U.S. Highway 2. The city council approved Mayor Geoffrey Thomas authorizing contracts with a broker and an architecture and urban design company at Tuesday's meeting - the city already hired a consultant in November. Monroe City Administrator Deborah Knight said signing on with Seattle-based Lee and Associates Commercial Real Estate Services and Makers Architecture and Urban Design, LLC is the final piece needed to make the sale happen.
