    Scott Burrell, a retired professional basketball player and current head coach for Southern Connecticut State University Men's Basketball, will be the guest speaker at the United Way of Milford's 2016-17 campaign kick-off Wednesday, Oct. 5, at Subway World Headquarters, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Burrell starred at UConn, famously tossing the court-length pass to Tate George that led to the game-winning hoop in an NCAA Tournament win over Clemson in 1990. Burrell played professionally from 1993-2006 and was Michael Jordan's teammate on a Chicago Bulls NBA title team.
