    Leaders of the Krewe of Zeus have declined to parade in Metairie in 2016, despite receiving application materials that would allow it to do so, due to a clash between krewe leaders and the parish administration over parade regulations and enforcement. In a release issued on Wednesday , the date by which all carnival krewes must file a parade application with the parish administration, the Krewe of Zeus captain apologized to Jefferson residents for not submitting an application, and not bringing them a show in 2016.
