    The St. Luke's Master Plan includes an expansion of approximately 567,000 square feet and the closure of Jefferson Street Officials from St. Luke's Regional Medical Center will brief the Boise City Council Tuesday on the beginning stages of a massive redesign of the hospital campus, which includes a new children's medical center, an expansion of heart and vascular care, women's care, ortho/neuro services and cancer treatment facilities. The plan also includes a new 357,000-square-foot medical tower, a new combined central plant and parking garage, 100,000 square feet of new medical office buildings and a total floor-area expansion of the medical center that will top 567,000 square feet.

Now, 3-D printing is so popular in the Treasure Valley that the Boise and Meridian libraries and the Office of the Governor are hosting an all-day 3-D design workshop at the Boise Centre on the Grove, Monday, July 25. Tinkercad, one of the nation's premier developers of 3-D software, will be on site providing 3-D design and printing tools at no cost, so you can create toys, prototypes, home decor, Minecraft models, jewelry - basically, anything you can imagine.
