    In spite of a major change to the operation of the Menomonee Falls Fire Department, taxes for the village portion of the 2014 tax bill will remain the same. The Menomonee Falls Village Board approved a budget on Nov. 17 that calls for a flat rate of $5.20 per $1,000 of assessed value, which is the same as 2013.

    On Tuesday, November 18, 8th grade students from Menomonee Falls North Middle School experienced JA Finance Park at the Junior Achievement Kohl's Education Center in Milwaukee, with the unique opportunity of having juniors from Menomonee Falls High School as their trained volunteers for the day. Prior to their visit, students spent 20 hours of classroom instruction learning personal money management skills.
