    Scottie Maples, of the Clark County Sheriff's Department, confirms the crash happened shortly before 4 p.m. Tuesday on U.S. 31 at Memphis/Blue Lick Road in Memphis. Sheriff Jamey Noel said the motorcycle was heading north on U.S. 31 when the driver of a pickup heading south attempted to turn onto Memphis Blue Lick Road, hitting the motorcyclist.

    A Clark County, Indiana, man has been arrested after police say he arranged to have sexual relations with someone he thought was a 15-year-old girl, but he was actually communicating with undercover officers. According to a news release from the Clark County Sheriff's Office, the investigation began in Scott County, Indiana, when 22-year-old Dalton Barnett reached out to an undercover officer posing as a 15-year-old girl on Facebook messenger.  Because Barnett was living and working in Clark County, the Scott County Sheriff's Office contacted the Clark County Sheriff's Office, which promptly took over the case.

    A Memphis, Indiana, father was arrested in Louisville late Friday afternoon after police say he tried to shoot up heroin inside a car with his two children -- ages 10 and 6 -- in the back seat. According to an arrest report, the incident took place on Friday, just after 4:30 p.m., in the 3100 block of Wayside Drive, just east of the intersection of Cane Run Road and Kingswood Way.
