    The Brevard County Sheriff's Office said they took into custody a man who forced himself into his ex-girlfriend's car and took her on a harrowing ride from Viera to Palm Bay on Tuesday. Hartful Nathaniel Smith, 33, of the 800 block of Clifton Road, Palm Bay, stalked the woman's home in the 2100 block of Fran Jamieson Way in Viera on Tuesday morning and confronted her when she stepped outside about 9 a.m., according to his affidavit.
