Medina Police responded to the call from concerned employees at Oasis of Hope, 710 N. Court St., at about 5:15 p.m. Aug. 1. Officers then contacted the Summit County Sheriff's Office bomb squad in Akron, which sent a member of its team to the scene as a precaution.
