    The Wyoming Game and Fish Department is hoping someone has information on two poaching crimes in southeast Wyoming involving a buck mule deer and a bull elk. On Oct. 20, Medicine Bow Game Warden Dylan Bergman was notified of a buck mule deer that had been shot from the road on deeded land along Hanna-Leo Draw Road in Deer Hunt Area 70. The suspects were driving a light silver or white newer Ford F150 pickup truck, with a full sized 4-door cab and a short bed.

    The fire began Sunday on Bureau of Land Management land in Washakie County and spread quickly to an estimated 15 square miles . Its location is between the small communities of Manderson and Hyattville and accordingly, the Wyoming Department of Transportation has closed highway 31 between the two communities.

    On May 26th, 2018, law enforcement was advised to be on the lookout for a suicidal subject driving a 2002 Ford F-150 pickup in Albany County Wyoming. The subject and vehicle were located on Vedauwoo Road in the Medicine Bow National Forest approximately 12 miles east of Laramie, Wyoming by a Wyoming Highway Patrol Trooper and an Albany County Deputy.

On February 16, 2018 U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Sonny Perdue announced the selection of 15 priority areas under the National Trails Stewardship Act of 2016, including two areas within the state of Wyoming: The Wyoming Forest Gateway Community Project which includes trails system on four national forests across the state on the Bighorn, Medicine Bow, Shoshone, and Bridger-Teton National Forests.
