    Four people were taken to Sacred Heart Medical Center with injuries they sustained in a three-car collision Saturday, April 2 at the intersection of State Route 902 and Craig Road. According to the Washington State Patrol collision memo, at approximately 4:44 p.m. a silver 2013 Hyundai Elantra driven by Jordan M. Perry, 23, of Cheney, was southbound on Craig Road and ran the stop sign at the intersection.

Earlier in the week Medical Lake defeated Colville in an opening-round elimination game 46-37 after losing its final league game, 39-35 to Riverside. "Newport shot the ball extremely good," head coach Kyle Lundberg said.
