    Pace has extended its Randall Road bus route from its northern end in Elgin to the Crystal Lake Metra Station, expanding hours and adding a new midday service through Kane and McHenry counties. Previously, buses operated between the Pace Elgin Transportation Center in downtown Elgin -- near the Metra Station -- and the Northwest Corporate Park, providing service to Judson University, the Big Timber Metra Station, Sherman Hospital and other destinations.

Deputies were called to a home in the 26500 block of West Edward Avenue of Ingleside at 7:50 p.m. Saturday on a report of an unresponsive 49-year-old man, sheriff's police said.

    After a one-year trial, McHenry County court officials will expand the use of CourtCall, a system that allows attorneys in lawsuits to make routine appearances by phone. The system is in use in other court circuits, but McHenry will be the first in the state to allow attorney appearances, as well as expert witness testimonies, via video, said Dan Wallis, trial court administrator for the 22nd judicial circuit in Woodstock.

According to Lake County Sheriff's police, the motorcyclist was driving a 1985 Santee custom motorcycle eastbound on Route 59 approaching North Wilson Road and a westbound 2002 Jeep Liberty turned left at the intersection and struck the bike.
