    Legislation authorizing the installation of a sidewalk along the south side of Butler Street between Third and Fourth streets was narrowly passed by Marietta City Council Thursday. Ordinance 62, allowing Marietta College and Dick Boulton Construction, Inc., of Marietta, to build the 6-foot-wide and 292-foot-long sidewalk on the city right of way, was adopted on a 4-3 vote by council.
