    More than five years after a pipeline burst in Mayflower near Lake Conway, state and federal officials have asked Exxon Mobil Corp. to pay more than $1.8 million to compensate the government for damage caused by the oil spill, and to pay for wildlife restoration efforts and other expenses. The proposed settlement is in a letter that the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission mailed Tuesday to Exxon Mobil and released Wednesday to the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette.
