    Chad M. Kepner, 36, was found dead at the scene of the accident after the Johnson County Sheriff's office responded to a personal injury accident at 6:50 a.m. Tuesday in the 6000 block of W. State Road 44, north of Trafalgar and west of State Road 135. According to the accident report, Kepner's vehicle struck a sport utility vehicle, inverting his pickup truck.

The Indiana Department of Transportation plans to purchase portions of up to 170 properties in Johnson County as part of the long-planned construction of Interstate 69 along State Road 37, which will include relocating about 60 homes and businesses.
