    A Martinsburg man is free on $50,000 bond after his arrest in a fatal Nov. 1 car crash in Jefferson County. Joshua D. Brown, 27, faces two felony charges in the three-car crash which killed Nelson Robinson Sr., an 87-year-old Army veteran from Shepherdstown.

    Jefferson junior Mia Holland, pictured Nov. 22 during a three-way meet against Martinsburg and Hedgesville, swam well over the holiday break, including second and third-place finishes during a 17-school invitational meet in Pennsylvania. Holland was on the winning end of all four events she participated in Saturday at Shepherd University, including as part of two relays that helped the Cougars earn dominating overall victories over Hampshire and Hedgesville.
