    A passenger, identified as Rebecca Kathleen Rosen, 21, rural Clutier, and a three-month-old child were taken by Tama ambulance to UnityPoint Health, Marshalltown, to be checked following a collision of the vehicle they were passengers in with a milk transport truck. Tama Police investigated the mishap at U.S. Highway 63 at the stoplight for the westbound entrance ramp to the U.S. 30 Expressway which occurred at 9:18 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 2. Toledo Police Chief Bob Kendall was busy investigating another crash on U.S. Highway 63 at West Ohio street at the time.

Jim Roan, project manager and Katherine Ollendieck, grant writer, told council members the Enhance Iowa Board is expected to look more favorably upon the Wieting's grant application totaling $260,000 with a show of increased local government support.
