City Clerk Judy Welch had told the council of the need to replace her office's eight-year-old computers and the need for a new server and network to serve police, fire and ambulance at the council's June 27 meeting. Approved was spending up to $10,000 with the equipment bid totaling $8,150 from BDH Technology, Marshalltown accepted.
