Media outlets report the Jefferson Parish Sheriff Office says in a news release that 55-year-old Dionicio Ibarra is wanted for second-degree murder in death of 34-year-old Isauro Guerrero.

    A fundraiser will be held Sunday benefitting the family of Michael Louviere , the Westwego police officer shot and killed in January. Louviere, 26, a married father of two, died after he was shot in the head when he stopped to help Simone Veal, 31, with what he thought was a traffic accident near Ames and Barataria boulevards in Marrero on Jan. 27. Both Louviere and Veal, who was eight weeks pregnant, were fatally shot by Veal's estranged husband, Sylvester Holt.
