    A few weeks ago, Joey Hauser was where he was supposed to be: standing on Stevens Point Area Senior High's home basketball court, being acknowledged with the rest of his fellow seniors for the hard work and dedication they'd shown over their prep careers, helping SPASH win three consecutive state titles. Unlike the rest of the seniors, however, Hauser was not in uniform; in fact, he technically wasn't even a student at the high school anymore.

In a news conference on the arena floor, Center officials announced that Cirque du Soleil would return to the Center in 2018, joining an already strong lineup that includes Katy Perry, Guns N' Roses, Janet Jackson, the Harlem Globetrotters, the Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Lorde and 2Cellos, along with exciting Bucks and Marquette basketball action and more show announcements to come.

    In January 2016, Marquette University announced it would build a new Athletic Performance Research Facility just east of the Marquette Interchange Downtown in collaboration with Aurora Health Care, with a potential groundbreaking this year. According to a Marquette statement, the APRC, "will function as a central hub for research evolving in emerging fields, including exercise physiology, athletic training, biomedical engineering, and fields involving nutrition and rehabilitation."

Joey Hauser, a 6-foot-7 forward from Stevens Point Area Senior High School, announced Sunday night on Twitter that he had committed to Marquette, where he'll join his older brother, Sam, a rising sophomore on the Golden Eagles.
