    Two women who escaped a central Louisiana prison Tuesday night are now back behind bars, according to a report by KALB-TV. The Avoyelles Parish Sheriff's Office reported 22 year old Amanda Tassin, and 24 year old Bridget Gagnard both of Marksville, were captured near Lafayette.

    Avoyelles Parish Sheriff Office is seeking the public's assistance in locating two inmates who escaped from a prison in Cottonport on July 24. According to Sheriff Doug Anderson, two female inmates escaped from the Avoyelles Parish Sheriff's Office Detention Center 3 around 11:30 p.m. Amanda Tassin, 22, and Bridget Gagnard, 24, both of Marksville, exited through the back of their dorm and escaped through a hole cut in the perimeter fence. An outside accomplice is believed to have cut the fence.
