    Multnomah, Marion and Lane Counties got the green light Friday to begin shipping their stockpiles of untested sexual assault kits to a private lab in Utah, which is expected to analyze about 3,000 of Oregon's 5,600 unprocessed kits. The Multnomah County board of commissioners on Thursday approved a contract with Sorenson Forensics LLC, based in Salt Lake City, to conduct the tests.
