    A man who pleaded guilty to hitting a clerk in the head with a hammer in a March 2013 armed robbery of a Champaign gas station was sentenced to 18 years in prison on Friday. The DNA of Nolan Bolden, 26, of Marion, Ark., was initially charged in the fall of 2013 without an identification after it was found underneath of the fingernails of the gas station clerk who fought back against Bolden with a baseball bat, before he escaped with hundreds of dollars.
