    The jury in the Ira David Blair murder trial in Washington County Common Pleas Court continued deliberations well into Friday night, following closing arguments by the prosecution and defense that had ended around noon that day. The jury of nine men and three women began deliberations at 1 p.m. and had still not reached a verdict by 10:30 p.m. Blair is charged with one count of murder, an unscheduled felony, one count of second-degree felonious assault and a fourth-degree felony count of breaking and entering related to the beating death of 68-year-old Frank Stephens in Marietta on April 2, 2013.
