    "The delay is due to redesigning the permits in response to comments from ATV users to print them on more durable material," a press release earlier this month stated, indicating that once permits are available, and weather permitting, all trails except the Willow Creek ATV trail and the Marienville bike trail will be open. Officials remind potential riders that use of the trails requires a permit, which can be purchased at the ANF headquarters in North Warren or the Bradford and Marienville district offices.

    A release from the ANF Headquarters made the announcement and indicated that the late-January opening is actually a delay due to waiting for the 2015 permits to arrive.
