    After Sewickley Academy defeated Constitution, 68-63, in the PIAA Class 2A boys basketball title game in Hershey, Pa., coach Win Palmer was named coach of the year Friday by the panel of Pennsylvania sports writers that selected the 2016-17 all-state teams. Several WPIAL players were named to first, second or third all-state teams, including Sewickley Academy's Chris Groetch and Nate Ridgeway who made the Class 2A first team, and Justin Pryor , who made the second team.
