    During a storm survey Tuesday, the National Weather Service in Cleveland confirmed an EF2 tornado touch down in Crawford and Richland counties Monday night. According to the public information statement, the tornado touched down at 10:42 p.m. and was on the ground until 11:02 p.m. on a path stretching 16.9 miles from west of North Robinson to north of Mansfield.

    The National Weather Service in Cleveland has issued a tornado warning for southeastern Richland County until 1:45 p.m. According to the warning, at 1:45 p.m. a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located near Bellville, or 10 miles south of Mansfield, moving northeast at 30 mph. Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter.

    Lee Lucas, the embattled DEA agent acquitted of criminal misconduct in a botched 2005 Richland County drug sting , was again cleared by a jury Wednesday in a civil case brought by a man exonerated for a drug deal in which he said he was not involved. The jury was out for little more than half a day when it reached its verdict Wednesday morning, finding in favor of Lucas and against Mansfield resident Joshawa Webb.
