    Fayetteville-Manlius teacher Kent Jeffrey has filed a notice of claim against the school district he teaches in alleging the superintendent made defamatory statements against him and his family. Jeffrey, a sixth-grade teacher who has taught at Eagle Hill Middle School for 22 years, filed the notice of claim Dec. 8. Jeffrey and his wife, Marilyn, have been battling the F-M district over special-education services for their 16-year-old son, Brett., who now attends East Syracuse Minoa High School.
