    MANCHESTER >> The Development Review Board is considering a request by the ownership group hoping to construct a 98 room Hampton Inn to divide the local permit issued last year into two - one for the hotel portion and one for a proposed retail development. Last June, Manchester Hotel Associates, part of the Long Island, N.Y.-based Mullaney Hospitality Group which will own and operate the Hampton Inn and Suites when it is built, obtained all the necessary permits to construct the hotel and develop the High Ridge Plaza area between Hillvale Road and the mini-Roundabout on Main Street near Ways Lane.

Peter Campbell-Copp, 65, pleaded no contest April 10 in Bennington criminal court to a felony count of using false pretenses to obtain more than $900.
