    St. Gregory's Catholic Church stood like a sentinel at the corner of the White Horse Pike and Somerdale Road in Magnolia for nearly six decades. It was a center of worship and community but - like many Catholic churches throughout New Jersey - it was forced to close as the Camden Diocese cut the number of parishes from 124 to 66. The building sat vacant for nearly seven years, until the structure - and the community's memories - were demolished.

    Royal Farms convenience stores are continuing an aggressive push into New Jersey eight months after opening their first store here.
