    A Vancouver, Washington man was killed in a crash outside of Warm Springs, Friday night. Witnesses reported heavy snowfall at the time of the crash, on Highway 26. According to Oregon State Police, 42-year-old Juan Guerrero Gomez of Gresham was westbound when he crossed into oncoming traffic at about 9 p.m. He hit an SUV driven by 42-year-old Matthew Hiller.

    A transient is accused of stealing a car from a Redmond area home and using it to commit additional crimes near Madras. Shortly after the car was reported stolen Wednesday morning, Jefferson County dispatch received a report of a hit and run crash on Highway 97. A woman was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

    Oregon State Police say fatigue was a contributing factor in a single-vehicle crash that tied up traffic in Madras during the Tuesday morning commute. According to OSP, the 16-year-old driver from Antelope, Oregon was southbound on Highway 97 when she crossed into oncoming traffic near the intersection with Highway 26. She drove off the road and hit a power pole, sending live power lines onto the roadway.
