    A Mill Valley man was arrested for what authorities described as a case of road rage after he allegedly forced a cyclist to crash. The incident occurred late Saturday morning, when Jonathan Kibera, 38, of Mill Valley was cycling south on Shoreline Highway near Panoramic Highway from Muir Beach when he passed another cyclist, Alex Boal, of Corte Madera, who began traveling with him.

    A 20-year-old man who safely landed a single-engine airplane on Highway 101 was heading home to San Jose when he encountered engine trouble, authorities said. The Piper PA28 touched down softly just after 11 p.m. Saturday in the southbound lanes near Coyote Creek Golf Drive, and the pilot, listed as a Madera resident but who also has a current address in San Jose, moved it to the shoulder, after which he and three other passengers got out safely and called for help.
